VICTORIAN FLUTE GUILD PRESENTS: “WORLD’S APART: FROM THE SPANISH BAROQUE TO AUSTRALIAN CONTEMPORARY”

This exciting concert features the work of esteemed Melbourne composer Helen Gifford alongside a set of newly-arranged flute and piano versions of Sarasate’s virtuosic dances for violin. The arrangements are part of Beatriz Pomés-Jimenez’s PhD at the University of Melbourne. Soon to be published, they are a womderful addition to the flute repertoire.
