Join the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music’s New Music Studio in a celebration of the music of  two of Australia’s best known composers, as George Dreyfus celebrates his 90 th year and we mark what would have been Peter Tahourdin’s . We also acknowledge the tenth anniversary of his passing and his role role as a Lecturer in Composition at the MCM from 1973-1988. The program contrasts early works for winds by each with later compositions , including the rarely performed “Raga Music 3” , commissioned by the ELISION ensemble in 1988.
