I am delighted to send you details of The 10^th China ConTempo Composition Competition, a collaborative call for scores between Birmingham Contemporary Music Group and the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing. The composition piece has to include both Chinese and Western instruments. The winning pieces will be premiered in Beijing on 5 November 2019 by Ensemble Contempo Beijing with Birmingham Contemporary Music Group and its European premiere to be held in Birmingham, the United Kingdom in the fall of 2020.
