Program Note

One pre forma of the self changes into the next, sometimes with a natural harmonic resolution, more often, uncontrollably into an unexpected variance of the original thesis: why am I in this mess! We cycle through atrophied remnants of former being, into far reaching improbabilities of reckoning. “Stretch” follows through rapid harmonic changes where one chord permeates the next. Chord movement remains an enduring preoccupation of my musical experience; I enjoy the discovery of myriad harmonic pathways and voice leading.
