Spread the word! Applications for the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra’s 2016 Cybec 21st Century Australian Composers Program are due soon! This program is open to applicants Australia-wide to undertake mentorship with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and a leading Australian composer throughout 2016. With generous support from the Cybec Foundation, the MSO will commission four new works, to be performed in late January 2017, and two of these works will also be included in performance by the MSO at the Metropolis New Music Festival in 2017. Please note that the age limit for applicants has been extended from previous years; we are now accepting applications from composers aged 35 and under. Applications are due on Friday 18 March 2016.
