Dear Friend’s of the Australian Discovery Orchestra,
As the managing director of a new orchestra enterprise in Australia: the Australian Discovery Orchestra, I am writing to let you know about an online concert of wonderful orchestral music able to be watched in the comfort of your own home with your morning cup of coffee at 11:30 AEST on Sunday 29 May. The concert is just 50 minutes in duration.
What makes ADO concerts different is that they are only live-streamed events over the Internet. Our audience is made up entirely of people watching us perform online. Also, we are the only professional orchestra in Australia where the musicians themselves come from every state to perform.
Australia’s newest, and most innovative, orchestra performs Aaron Copland’s The Tender Land Suite and premieres Made in Heaven – a new concerto for orchestra and an homage to the iconic Miles Davis album, ‘Kind of Blue’ – by prominent Australian composer, Brenton Broadstock. <http://australiandiscoveryorchestra.com/event/ado-1-from-heaven-to-the-winds-of-hell/>
Explore the music in our world-first, fully interactive, 3-D environment anytime before the concert. Visit: http://live.australiandiscoveryorchestra.com
You can alternatively book a ticket close to the day of the concert. By either watching the concert on your computer or connecting your laptop to your television and the purchase of a single $10.00 live-stream ticket will enable you to view the performance.
We hope you are able to join us on May 29 for this relatively short but highly entertaining concert experience.
