I-Park is pleased to announce that it will be hosting its sixth international, multi-disciplinary Site-Responsive Art Residency & Biennale. The three-week residency begins on Monday, May 15, 2017 and culminates with a public exhibition on June 4, 2017.

The residency will be devoted exclusively to the 10 – 12 artists/designers who will be invited to create new works for the exhibition. I-Park views site-responsive art as a multi-disciplinary, multi-sensory field – at its most impactful when the installations and performances are developed and experienced in-situ. The term ‘site-responsive’ is construed broadly to encompass the various aspects of the project site: natural, built, social – and sensitive to the various dimensions of time. All works for this program must be ephemeral in character.

The application deadline is November 1, 2016. The residency will run from May 15 until June 5, 2017. The public exhibition will be on Sunday, June 4, 2017.
