Welcome to the Matt Withers Australian Music Composition Competition in collaboration with the illustrious Acacia Quartet.

$3,250 in cash prizes plus multiple performances and a studio recording licenced for release and digital distribution through ABC Classics.

Applicants are invited to submit an original musical composition based on the set of inspiration artworks ‘Stormy Seashore’ by Sue Needham for the quintet ensemble of string quartet and classical guitar of 7-10 minutes in duration.
