The long-held tradition of the Melbourne Composers’ League’s Elbow Room concerts continues with a recital at the Wesley Anne,  renowned for its soaring ceilings and resurrected-19-century-church-adorned interior including wine barrels, wagon wheels and a large wrought-iron chandelier that gives the bar a dim candle-lit glow. The Elbow Room concerts provide an opportunity for composers to present their newest works and are known for their broad array of experimental as well as more traditional music. Compositions by George Dreyfus, Colin McKellar, Howard Dillon, Silvia Simons, Julian Cafarella, Caerwen Martin, Susan Frykberg, Anthony Lyons, Christina Green, Houston Dunleavy and Paul Moulatlet.
