Presented as part of the Melbourne Composers’ League (MCL) and Japan Federation of Composers (JFC) Exchange Concert

Japanese composers – Isao Matsuhita, Kaori Nabeshima and Rui Ogawa; and Australian composers – Bruce Crossman, Emergence from Autumn Darkness (solo harp), Andrián Pertout, Un’impressione nel tempo for Contrabass Flute, Viola, Harp and Didgeridoo, no. 439 (2016) and new composition by Johanna Selleck – with Aboriginal didjeridoo player, Namatjira Morgan to participate.
Performers: Jun-Ichiro Taku – contrabass flute; Fumiko Kai – viola; Reine Takano – harp; Namatjira Morgan – yidaki (didgeridoo); Andrián Pertout – conductor.
